the Buddhist Library is a non-sectarian organization and serves as a centre for devotees of all Buddhist schools and all those interested to learn, discuss and share Buddhist Dhamma.
the Buddhist Library’s collection now surpass 16,000 books in English and Chinese covering various aspects of Buddhism, including scriptural texts, doctrine, philosophy, ethics, meditation, devotion, art and architecture. It also has a sizable collection of books on related subjects, including other major world religions, Eastern and Western philosophy, comparative religion, psychology and ecology. There are also books on Buddhism for children. The Library’s book collection keeps growing through the generosity of members and devotees who donate new books to the Library each year.
Membership is open to all. the Buddhist Library’s Reading Room is open to the general public. However, the loan of books is restricted to Library members. Library Membership privileges also include priority when registering for and discounts on fees on courses and activities conducted by the Buddhist Library.
The Library  has established close links with many other Buddhist organizations in Singapore and overseas.
